Set on a secluded stretch of natural white-sand beach facing the world’s second-largest barrier reef, Matachica offers a choice of 31 intimate villas, including 30 single casitas and 1 two-bedroom villa. Vibrantly colored and exotic with thatched roofs, our villas are uniquely decorated with hints of Central American motifs and original art collected from around the world. Our villas are spacious, privately located from each other and include Matachica’s distinctive features of large traditional mosaic bathrooms, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, private patios with hammocks, Matouk & Frette linens with feather duvets, bathrobes and daily maid service. All rooms have private safes.
Matachica is a mature environment and the resort is not suitable for children under 16 years old.
Rates are quoted in US dollars per room and include complimentary full breakfast and arrival and departure transfers from and to the airport in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. 9% government hotel tax and 10% service charge are not included. There is a US $100 fee (plus tax and service charge) per night for each additional person in the room.

This basic wedding package per couple is available in addition to Matachica accommodation rates and includes:
